Piet Zwart Commission
Inspired by a news article on regenerative agriculture strategies, this Piet Zwart-inspired poster is a marketing campaign for the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC). Combining the functionality, clean lines, order, and harmony of the De Stijl movement with specific works of Piet Zwart such as Archive Salon 02 and NijghvanDitmar from 1931, the design creates an illusion of a page flipped when opening a book. The use of a drop shadow at the center of the composition reflects the stability and good-standing reputation of the IPC and pays homage to Piet Zwart's era.
